Rob started martial arts training at university in 1993 and achieved his 4th belt - Green Belt in Shotokan Karate. Rob then moved to a different part of the UK and started training at a Wado-Ryu Karate club. Again, achieving his 4th belt in this discipline before moving area again.

Rob joined the ECKA in 1997 and trained in Milton Keynes with Mark Featherstone. After taking a two year break to get married, amongst other things, he achieved 1st Dan in 2003 and his 2nd Dan in 2006. Rob is a registered instructor with the EKGB and the ECKA and has been teaching martial arts in Tring since September 2004. Rob can be contacted via:
